Considering it was one of the best games of the last generation, many have been wondering if The Last of Us would be arriving as a port on the PlayStation 4. Now, it appears that will be the case according to the PlayStation Eurasian Software Market Manager.
In a video on the Turkish website Multiplayer, Sercun Sulun, the aforementioned Software Market Manager, discussed the future of The Last of Us and thanks to IGN, we have a translation of a snippet from that interview.
There is no information about a new The Last of Us game but I can share this knowledge; as of this summer, The Last of Us will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically.
The PS4 version will also include the DLC so you will be able to play ‘Left Behind’ as well.
While it hasn’t been confirmed officially by Sony, Sulun is a very reputable source that has been with Sony since 2012. With the lack of games that plague most new systems, this should certainly help to pad out the first party schedule for the PlayStation 4 this year.
