Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F made its way over to the west with a release in the US on PlayStation 3 last August and a release on the PS Vita coming just a few weeks ago, with the latter being a digital only release. Thanks to wonderful reception of the game, Sega has announced that the sequel Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd will also be coming to the US this fall.
This game features 40 different songs, some brand new and some classics from the first, with improved gameplay. Edit Mode has also made its return, which will allow you to share your creations with the world through online.
The Japanese version of the game actually doesn’t release until tomorrow, so this news is perfect timing for those that might have been tempted to import for worry we wouldn’t be getting it soon. The other great news is that a physical copy will be available for both the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions this time. To coincide with this announcement, a brand new trailer has also been released for the game.
