One complaint that many gamers have had over the years with Steam is the difficulty of finding out which games have been recently updated, whether with new content or just bug fixes. This is done by making a new “Recently Updated” area right on the front page showing off these updated games.
Valve’s Tom Bui spoke about this new addition and the reason it was added.
The more options developers have for communicating about their products the better it is for everyone. With this new product section and corresponding developer tools, customers can more easily discover products that provide ongoing value and involvement from the developers.
