After nearly a decade, Nintendo is finally making a return to the Mario Golf series of games. Originally scheduled for the latter half of 2013, Mario Golf: World Tour for the Nintendo 3DS was eventually pushed to 2014. Through today’s Nintendo Direct, we now have an official release date for the game, May 2.
A new single player mode was announced that is known as Castle Club, where you use your Mii character to play through a single player campaign. You will have the ability to customize your Mii with eight different item types, which will alter the way you play. This gives you a little bit of choice in how you wish to play through the single player.
