Super Smash Bros. unveils another veteran presence

Super Smash Bros (1)

Warning! Challenger Approaching! Coming only a few days after the reveal of Rosalina and Luma in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, Masahiro Sakurai has chosen to announced the return of another veteran to the series through the official Super Smash Bros. website. To coincide with the release of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds in Japan, Sakurai has unveiled the return of Princess Zelda.

Once again, it appears that Princess Zelda will be using the Twilight Princess look, but with some small alterations, such as her looking a little younger. This unveiling did not choose to show if Sheik will be making a return or not, but that can easily be saved for later. On Miiverse, Sakurai announced Zelda by saying:

Pic of the day. To celebrate the launch of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds in Japan, Zelda joins the battle!! It’s great to see so many female characters this time around.

The interesting part is found in one of the images that shows a Darknut seemingly under the control of Zelda. The question is whether the Darknut is a new Assist Trophy or a new move for Zelda based off of Spirit Tracks. To see that picture and more, check out the gallery below.
