Thanks to the Kinect sensor bundled up with the Xbox One, gamers who picked it up last week will be able to tell their console on what to do by simply saying phrases.
Compared to the Kinect on the Xbox 360, the commands that it can accept were limited and that didn’t really showcase what the camera can do when it came to voice commands. This time with the Kinect on the Xbox One, there are more commands that you can say and it’s more responsive. From turning off your console to changing TV channels in simple phrases, controlling your Xbox One without a controller is now entirely possible.
If you somehow just picked up the new Xbox One, here are some of the most commonly used voice commands that you can say to your Kinect:

Xbox On
Wakes up the Xbox One, turns on the TV and cable/satellite box.
Xbox Turn Off
Puts your Xbox One to sleep/off. It can also turn off your TV and cable/satellite box if enabled.
Stop Listening
Stop the Kinect from accepting any voice commands from you.
Xbox Use Code
You can use your QR codes that you get from game inserts and other things that has a QR barcode.
Xbox Sign In/Out
Sign in/off yourself.
Xbox Go Home
Returns to your Dashboard
Xbox Snap [App]
Allows you to launch another app on your screen.
Xbox Skype [Name]
If you have Skype enabled, you can call someone from your Skype account by saying a voice command.
Xbox Call
Starts a video call
Xbox Answer / Answer without Video
Answers incoming Skype Calls
Xbox Send a Message
Send messages to your Xbox Live Friends
Xbox Watch TV
Allows you to launch the TV app where you can watch live TV.

Switch channels by saying the station’s name. ie: Xbox Watch Fox Channel
Xbox Play Music
Play music from your Xbox Music account.
