As hard as it may be to believe, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas released for the PlayStation 2 nearly a decade ago. While it has still been that long, the game has yet to release on mobile platforms, until now. Rockstar Games announced today that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be coming to mobile devices this December.
This release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will features multiple upgrades to the original, just like the other mobile releases, including contextual control options that allow the buttons to only be displayed on screen when you need them. Three options will be available for driving and maneuvering, as well as a reworked checkpoint system that allows for easier progression. The game will also include full controller support on the mobile version.
Look for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on your iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle, and Windows Mobile devices this December.
