Some evidence suggest that Square Enix may be bringing some new Dragon Quest games to the West.
Siliconera reports that Square Enix filed trademarks for the names “Luminaries of the Legendary Line” and “The Seeds of Salvation”. The names were filed in English which suggests the games might be heading to the West and won’t be Japan exclusive titles.
Hopefully Square Enix decides to bring new Dragon Quest games to the West. There are a lot of gamers that would love to play RPG games for their new gaming consoles…

Dragon Quest
Dragon Quest 2: Luminaries of the Legendary Line
Dragon Quest 3: The Seeds of Salvation
It’s also possible that they may bundle Dragon Quest 1-3 as the Roto Trilogy, and call that Dragon Quest: Luminaries of the Legendary Line (that trillogy revolves around the legendary hero Roto and his descendants). and Dragon Quest 4-6 as the Zenithia trillogy and call it Dragon Quest: The Seeds of Salvation (as that series has a floating castle and a “hero survives some tragic situation and comes back to save the day” theme). Not sure.
