When Battlefield 4 launched last week on the Xbox 360, many were frustrated by the fact that a hard drive is required to play the game. Well, the much anticipated Call of Duty: Ghosts from Activision contains the same HDD requirement.
Before Xbox 360 owners can play their Call of Duty: Ghosts, make sure that you have a hard drive with 3GB of extra space available. Upon booting up the game, you will receive a prompt asking you to download the Campaign Content Pack and insert Disc 2. Those who decide not to download it will not be able to play CoD: Ghosts’ single player campaign.
Check back with us later this week for our review of Call of Duty: Ghosts.

November 6, 2013 at 12:00 AMYup, currently waiting for the install as I type. Add on downloading the entire game off of live, the wait time has been 3 hours and counting.

July 5, 2014 at 2:00 PMOk, here is my fix for the problem. Go to your system storage and clear the cache. Then go into system>storage>hard drive>call of duty:ghosts and delete what you have installed. Then, put the first disk in the console (the one with the actual game on it, not the installation disk). It should download two compatability packs along with a game update. I believe this makes the installation disk obsolete as I was able to play multiplayer without installing the game.
