The next free title that will be given away as part of the Xbox Live Games with Gold promotion was first announced alongside the promotion itself at E3 2013.
For the second half of October, beginning on October 16, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download the very popular Halo 3, that still has a good amount of online play as we speak. With all of the changes in the series with Halo Reach and Halo 4, some gamers have chosen to stick to the more classic Halo gameplay of Halo 3. Right now, Halo 3 is $14.99 on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This title will be free for members from October 16 to October 31.
It was already announced what game will be available for the first half of the month as part of the promotion, Might & Magic Clash of Heroes, which also carries a $14.99 price tag on the marketplace.
