When Warner Bros. announced this week that Batman: Arkham Origins will indeed have an online multiplayer mode, they mentioned every current-gen console except the Wii U.
According to Eurogamer, Warner Bros. confirmed to the site that the Nintendo Wii U version of Batman: Arkham Origins won’t have any multiplayer component. The decision behind it was the desire to focus “on platforms with the largest multiplayer audience”. Well, since the Wii U isn’t really selling that well and an online component is close to non-existent, I understand where Warner Bros. is coming from.
Batman: Arkham Origins, along with the spin-off title Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC this October 25th.
