Ultra Street Fighter IV Stages Are Recycled

Ultra Street Fighter IV seems like a DLC port of Street Fighter X Tekken more than anything else. Even the stages have been recycled…

It was announced last week that four of the promised new characters are just ports from Street Fighter X Tekken. Hugo, Poison, Rolento and Elena were all from that game and are now just coming to Ultra Street Fighter IV.

Capcom also announced that six “new” stages will be coming to the game as well. It appears that even the stages are just ports from Street Fighter X Tekken too.

Here are the “new” stages that are in Ultra Street Fighter IV:

-Blast Furnace Stage
-Cosmic Elevator Stage
-Half Pipe Stage
-Jurassic Era Research Facility Stage
-Mad Gear Hideout Stage
-Pitstop 109 Stage

If you’ve already played Street Fighter X Tekken, there isn’t any real “new” content in Ultra Street Fighter IV. Hopefully this mystery fifth character doesn’t turn out to be a disappointment…
