Namco Bandai has announced at Comic Con that an HD version of Soulcalibur 2 is releasing later this year.
Soulcalibur 2 is a port of the original game that came out for the PS2, Xbox and Gamecube back in 2003. Apart from the graphics, it appears the gameplay has been left untouched.
The original game featured Spawn on the Xbox and Link on the Gamecube version. Polygon noted the teaser trailer only featured Heihachi who was a PS2 exclusive back in the day.
Soulcalibur 2 HD Online isn’t likely to feature Link in any way since he’s a Nintendo character. The game will be only out for PS3 and Xbox 360 so it looks like Wii U owners will be missing out.
