Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn beta to stress test “duty finder”

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn Featured

Another beta session will be held this weekend, starting July 5th at 2AM PST on both the PC and PS3 versions for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Currently, there’s no date as to when this weekend’s beta test will end, although hopefully we’ll get more time with it past the three days we usually get. One of the features the developer will be stressing sometime this weekend is the duty finder, which is called ‘dungeon finder’ or ‘group finder’ in other MMOs. Following this weekend’s beta test, there will be one more before going to phase four, which is the open beta. Those who have not taken the beta test yet can sign up at the official site.

Now that we’re halfway through phase 3, all that’s left is to stress test the duty finder, and to monitor server stability over a long period. It won’t be long until phase 4, early access, and the big day arrive, so the team is really giving it their all. – Yoshida, Producer
