2K Sports has announced European teams will feature in NBA 2K14 for the very first time.
To my knowledge, this is the first ever time a NBA video game of any kind featured teams and players from the Euroleague. If you are a huge European basketball fan, your favorite team could play against the Miami Heat and others in NBA 2K14.
Adding new teams is a good thing for 2K Sports to do to make the games have more worldwide appeal.
The 14 teams in the Euroleague are: Alba Berlin, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, CSKA Moscow, EA7 Emporio Armani Milano, Montepaschi Siena, Fenerbahçe Ülker Istanbul, Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Olympiacos Piraeus, Panathinaikos Athens, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, Zalgiris Kaunas, Unicaja Málaga, & Laboral Kutxa Vitoria
It may be a stretch, but I wonder if in a few year’s time they’ll include the NBL from Australia/New Zealand. The FIFA series includes the local “A-League” in their games to it could be a possibility down the road…
