Fans of the highly acclaimed Bioshock Infinite have been clamoring for DLC for the game since release, and that wait may soon be over. Prior to the game’s release, the game’s publisher, 2K Games, stated that there were three pieces of DLC being worked on for the game, but nothing new has come out specifically since then.
Rumors started to circulate yesterday straight from the source, Ken Levine, creative director of Irrational Games. Levine posted “Excited for tomorrow” on his Twitter feed early Sunday morning. This was follow by a tweet this morning that read “Check the internets tuesday at around 8AM est to see what I’m up to tomw. Hopefully, it won’t involve a perp walk.”
He has since been less cryptic by responding to someone’s tweet asking about why the DLC hasn’t been announced since July is nearly over and he said “Read my tweets today, dude/dudette! all that tweet sweat for nothing!” One would think this is as close to confirmation as you can get coming straight from the creative director.
So if you love Bioshock Infinite and have been chomping at the bit to get new content, you may be in luck very soon. Bioshock Infinite is available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
