A new video for the upcoming Aftermath DLC for Battlefield 3 has been released and its all about the new crossbow weapon being added as well as the different bolt types it supports. There are 4 different bolts that you can use with the weapon: standard, scanning, balanced and explosive bolts. The crossbow will act as a gadget you can switch to like the grenade launcher so you won’t have to decide what weapon you want to replace. You can even bring the crossbow and all of its bolts back to the main multiplayer game, so you aren’t limited to just using it in Aftermath. It looks like it will be a blast to use and may give recon a good way to do some damage to vehicles.
The Aftermath DLC for Battlefield 3 will release sometime in December and will release earlier for premium members. Look for our review early next month when the DLC releases.
