Halo Council is reporting that there is an ad currently up on the German Xbox 360 Dashboard advertising the upcoming DLC for Halo 4.
Given the news, it would seem that the first map pack, titled Crimson, is set to arrive on December 10th. This Monday release seems a bit more credible as the usual playlist updates and Spartan Ops are added on Mondays as well. The other two Halo 4 map packs, Majestic and Castle, are dated as February 25th and April 1st, respectively.
MicroSoft and 343 Industries have not commented on the rumored reveal, but if it turns out to be true, this could be a good time to purchase the Halo 4 season pass and get that spiffy looking scanner helmet. 343 Industries DID announce the names of the three map packs and what month they’re set to drop, but until now an exact date had not been mentioned.
