Following the surprise announcement a month ago, gamers can now purchase Angry Birds Star Wars for iOS and Android for $.99 or $2.99 for the iPad version. This version includes 40 new stages on Tatooine and another 40 for the Death Star, with an additional 10 for getting stars / finding golden items. Additionally gamers can look forward to a free expansion for Hoth in the future, though no word on other expansions. If this still isn’t enough Angry Birds for you, you can always purchase the Path of the Jedi pack for $1.99, which adds another 39 (1 is free) levels under Yodas guidance.
While some might be turned off by this cross over, it’s actually better than you would expect. Each of the birds has been given new powers to suit the star wars universe, plus incorporates some elements from Space to make it interesting.
