As revealed on the official Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD facebook page, the PC version of the game is due out next week but will lack online play.
Here’s what was announced about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD:
“We’ve secured a bit more info on the PC release of THPS HD next week. The game will be $9.99 (US dollars) and those that buy the game by the end of September will get 10% off! Please note: the PC version of the game does not have online play or Facebook integration, hence the lower price than the PSN and XBLA versions. More info to come as we get it!”
Fans were disappointed that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD for the PS3 and Xbox 360 lacked splitscreen multiplayer in favor for only online play. The PC version will have no multiplayer options whatsoever.
What are your thoughts of a PC game in this day and age not having any online multiplayer mode?

Releasing this game without online play is pointless. There’s not much point to buy it nor value of playing.
The campaign mode will last maybe an hour.
Robomodo has proven they’re a terrible company yet another time.. as if ruining the Tony Hawk franchise with Shred and Ride wasn’t bad enough but now they’re holding two middle fingers up to PC gamers.
Without online play, this is a game that deserves to be and will be heavily pirated.
