In an interview with Siliconera, Street Fighter x Tekken producer Tomoyaki Ayano confirmed that both Mega Man and Pac-Man will never be released on the Xbox 360 version of the game.
Tomoyaki Ayano said:
“Unfortunately for Xbox 360 users, Mega Man and Pac-Man are exclusive to the PS3 version of the game.”
Siliconera were curious to find out why. After all, data for both characters were found on the Xbox 360 discs itself by hackers. Many people believed the characters will be available to download for the Xbox 360 at a later date.
Tomoyaki Ayano responded:
“Every game has data on it that is unused. In this case, Street Fighter X Tekken for the Xbox 360 did have the Mega Man and Pac-Man data on it. But, we never intended to release these characters on the 360. They are PS3 exclusives and that was our intention from the very beginning. The are not going to be timed exclusives either, they’re PS3 exclusives.”
Even though Tomoyaki Ayano mentioned both Pac-Man and Mega Man will be PS3 exclusives, they will also appear in the PS Vita version of the game later this year. Sony gets exclusive characters while Microsoft misses out.

July 17, 2012 at 9:31 AMThe sad part? If you have the hacked 360 version of this game (with all characters unlocked), Megaman AND Pacman are both in it!
The 2 cats aren’t though, THEY’RE exclusive no matter what to the ps3
Strange. So Capcom is fully blocking characters that are already on the disc?
