I Love Tails
Play as Tails 50 times.
Okay so this trophy makes very little sense, but I believe it means offline only. I did well over the requirement online and wasn’t rewarded with the trophy. Anyway, select multiplayer and select offline. In this area select a stage you want to do. I suggest something that a single player can win, but Tails can beat most levels on his own. Rinse and repeat this 49 more times for the trophy / achievement.
Ring Collector
Beat Special Stage 1 after collecting every ring.
This is harder than it sounds and has two ways of doing it. You can either rush the level and time it perfectly or find a friend to grab the split rings. The perfect scores are 80 for the first wave, 215 for the second and 314 for the total. If you’re having problems, please check out the video below.
Silver
Endurance Race
Clear all stages without returning to the World Map.
While this should be a fairly easy task, you have to select continue after EVERY level. Missing it once will send you back to square one, so make sure you have the time to do it. Beyond this, you really should know the levels at this point. If not, just keep moving forward and play smart.
All Chaos Emeralds Found!
Collect all seven Chaos Emeralds.
Like all most Sonic games, gets 50+ rings and make it to the goal. Here you will see a giant ring, which you must jump into. Once inside, it will allow you to play a special stage to win the emerald. Most are straight forward, but if you’re going to fail, pause the game and select restart. This doesn’t work online, so I strongly suggest just doing them offline with the AI.
Proof of Speed
Clear SYLVANIA CASTLE ZONE, Act 1 in one minute or less.
Basically you just need to know the level and take the upper path. You can get someone online to just do it for you, but it’s honestly not that hard. You can see my very flawed run below.
Gold
All Red Star Rings Found!
Defeat the final foe after collecting every Red Star Ring.
Basically you have to find every Red Star Ring and successfully finish the level. After they’re all found, simply beat the boss for the trophy. Most of them are in obvious locations, but if you’re having problems, check out the guide below.
SYLVANIA CASTLE ACT 1
Towards the middle of the level, you’re going to see a gap that requires Tails to fly you over. Once past this you will run down a hill and over some water. After you see the 3rd fish jump, you need to do the same. If you do this right, you should land on or by the ring.
SYLVANIA CASTLE ACT 2
Following the main path underwater, you will come to some masks that fire arrows. Once you see them, jump and use Tails to get to the surface above. Once you’re up here, keep going to the left till you see the ring.
SYLVANIA CASTLE ACT 3
Sooner or later you will see a lower path blocked off by a pillar. Once you see it, head over to the other side and summon Tails to fly up the wall. Up here you will see the ring.
WHITE PARK Act 1
Towards the start you will see a huge avalanche. After this you will end up in a wide open area, which you need to use Tails to fly above. You should see a new path up there, which will lead to the red ring. If you’re having problems figuring this description out, you should see the red ring on the lower path too. Once you see it just do some some back tracking.
WHITE PARK Act 2
Towards the end of the level you will see two moving blocks. The first one is moving from left to right and the second is going up and down. After this there is a short path, which will lead to a series of springs. After the first one you should see the red ring, so you need to summon Tails when you’re back in that lane. From here, simply head back towards the ring.
WHITE PARK Act 3
Around the middle of the level you will see a vast open area, which will have a huge tower to the right. Once you see this, use Tails to fly above it and you should see the ring. If not, keep going forward as there are a few area’s similar to this.
OIL DESERT Act 1
At the very end of this level, you have to summon Tails to get across a series of gaps. The last one will have a red ring on the upper path, but you should notice this through normal gameplay.
OIL DESERT Act 2
At the very start you should notice the Red Ring, which is hard to miss. To get it you have to ride the oil till you see a platform. Once you’re on this platform, look to the left and use the dual spin dash. This will get you up the oil and into this little area.
OIL DESERT Act 3
At the very end of the level, you will end up this sand trap room. Simply use Tails to get it and finish off the level.
SKY FORTRESS Act 1
In about the middle of this act, you will have to dodge some missiles. You will see a series of rings pointing down, but you want to ignore those and go up. This path should lead to the red ring.
SKY FORTRESS Act 2
Quite honestly, it is literally impossible to not see this ring. It is right before the end of the level and you must successfully collect it, then end the level for it to save.
SKY FORTRESS Act 3
Similar to the ring above, you quite honestly can’t miss it. To get it, use the double spin dash right before the flames end and quickly escape into Tails flying. This sounds a lot harder than it really is though.
Death Egg mk.II
Shortly after killing Metal Sonic, you will have to ride a purple platform. Jump and summon Tails, then fly into this corner for your last ring. Remember that you still need to finish the end boss for the trophy, but the hard part is done now!
