No Plans For New Zealand Government To Lower Digital Prices

Not many people around the world will know this but digital distribution prices for gamers in Australia and New Zealand are really high compared to other countries such as the USA. According to a report from Gameplanet, there are no plans to lower prices in New Zealand.

This comes as a response from the Australian Government who are currently making plans to “fairly price” digital distributed content such as video games and even music and movies etc.

New Zealand will only take action to see if the move is successful over in Australia. Consumer advocacy groups say New Zealanders usually pay up to 50% more for digitally distributed goods compared to American customers…
