It appears as if Sega is going all out for Yakuza 5 for it to become the biggest and most ambitious Yakuza game to date.
Famitsu magazine has all the details about the game. First of all, there will be five playable main characters in the game. This includes the return of Kazuma Kiryu who has been in all of the Yakuza games released to date. Also playable in the game are Taiga Saejima, Shun Akiyama, Haruka and Tatsuo Shinada.
Not only that but five cities will be included as well. These cities are Sapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka. Lastly, Yakuza 5 will be on a new game engine.
Sega says the game will be out in Japan in December. Let’s hope the game is released shortly after this in the West.
