Once again, Monolith is providing Gotham City Imposters players with free add-on content. The latest update will add a new map and a new mode.
First, there’s the new map titled The East End. The developers are looking to change the pace of gameplay with the newest map claiming it includes “bigger open areas and tighter hallways than you’ve ever experienced in Impostors”. Then there’s the new mode, Bounty Hunter, that will also mix things up a bit. Monolith was kind enough to go into detail about this addition as well:
When someone is slain in this game mode they drop a shiny gold coin that you can pick up to gain a temporary buff (and some well deserved points). Did your teammate drop a coin after an untimely death? Deny your foes the satisfaction of picking it up and steal it for yourself.
It sounds like a modified version of Modern Warfare 3’s Kill Confirmed mode. That could be an interesting game type with people gliding and spring-jumping about with their swords and bows (or whatever your preferred loadout happens to be).
Furthermore, extra languages have been added to the game. Now, you can have your vigilante psychopath speak in English, French, German, Italian or Spanish. Be sure to check out all of this content in the new trailer below:
Monolith was unable to give an official release date for the update, but they did state that it would be coming “soon”.
