Could Microsoft’s Transparent 3D Screens Be The Future Of Gaming?

Core77 has just shown a cool looking transparent screen made by Microsoft. One can imagine the possibilities this technology could bring into video games.

Users can interact with the images simply by putting their hands behind the screen. Back in 2002, the movie Minority Report showcased some similar kind of technology but now it has become a reality.

The technology itself is still in “prototype” phase. Although I can imagine this sort of technology being used by gaming developers in the near future. After all, motion gaming such as the Wii, Move and Kinect have shown new ways we can play games.
