THQ has posted some new details regarding the infamous online servers from WWE ’12.
Read on to see more details about the latest updates:
WWE Games Universe,
Thanks again for the patience that all of you have shown in the community. We wanted to give you a more detailed technical update from our engineering team in regards to our WWE ’12 Community Creations issues. This past weekend, our online team did some major work on the server software, which helped reduce database load. The team has been monitoring the server logs and have identified two solutions to improve load on i/o and file transfer.
Our team is now working to isolate thumbnail data within Community Creations, and deployment of updates will begin later today, but will be ongoing. We’ll work hard to get you an ETA for all completed work, but right now we do not have one. We’ll be sure to update you on the latest status after each update that we deploy.
We know that some of you are experiencing “Server is Unavailable” messages when entering keyword searches within Community Creations. Limiting the complexity of keyword searches, goes a long way in helping to reduce the load to our server and will usually get you results faster. If you could be precise in your search terms, it would be much appreciated for the time being. Also, if you are experiencing long access times, go back to the title screen and then back to Community Creations and the server connection will be refreshed. This usually improves connectivity.
As always, if you have any questions, you can reach us on Facebook, Twitter, and official forums. Please keep us up to date on your online experience, as we’re seeing differences all over the world.
Thanks,
WWE Games
