Razor’s new tablet, codenamed “Project Fiona”, is hoping to blur the lines between gaming PCs and tablets. Observing the new product, you’ll notice that it looks like every other tablet except for one key feature: two nunchuck-esque controllers attached to either side like handles. This should be a godsend for those who can’t stand virtual/touch-screen controls.
Engadget claims that the device will run “most” PC games “‘without any special tweaks or modifications”. The system packs an Intel Core i7 Ivy Bridge processor, Windows 8 (with custom UI) and online multiplayer options that rival the ease and quality of Xbox Live.
Razor is targeting the tablet for the second half of 2012 and is looking to release it at a price point under $1,000.

January 11, 2012 at 3:57 AM“Under 1,000” Yeah I can’t see that going well for them. Especially with people having problems with the vita at only 250. Also is it me or does it look pretty hard to port it? I couldn’t see this being something I play with on the go…
