A few days ago Irem sold the rights of Spelunker to Tozai Games. This in turn means the games will be pulled in Japan. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal as Minna de Spelunker (Japanese name) only sported one difference (Alternate trophy list.). The important news is that the currently Japan only version Spelunker Black, is being removed too. This could be your last chance to play this extremely difficult, but rewarding game. In addition to the Spelunker games, they’re also pulling the PSP title Doki Doki Suikoden and the Home space. This also marks the second time Irem has pulled something from the PSN.
If you would like to pick up any of these games you will have to make that choice quite fast. Minna de Spelunker is disappear on the 12th and Black will join it on the 20th. I strongly suggest both of these titles and can tell you they were one of the best platformers I played this generation. Finally Doki Doki will also go away on the 20th.
