It appears as if Sony is currently working on its own version of Super Smash Bros. made famous by Nintendo.
Super Smash Bros. is a title that sees many of Nintendo’s famous characters battle it out in a Street Fighter style fighting game. Some of the characters we see in the game include Link, Mario and in more recent games we have seen Snake from Metal Gear Solid and even Sonic the Hedgehog.
This game from Sony is code named Title Fight and is supposedly being developed by SuperBot Entertainment. The game is set to feature a host of famous Sony characters in lieu of Nintendo ones. Some of the characters set to feature in the game as reported by Paul Gale include “Nathan Drake, Twisted Metal’s Sweet Tooth, Killzone’s Colonel Radec, Fat Princess, Kratos, Sly Cooper and even Parappa the Rappa.”
Although it will be fun to see some of the Sony characters going at it, I wonder if the game will feature other characters from 3rd party developers? Snake and Sonic have featured in Super Smash Bros. can we expect to see them again in Title Fight?
Evidence that suggests this include a character model of Twisted Metal’s Sweet Tooth. You can view the image above.
Sony has yet to officially announce Title Fight is indeed in development but judging by the amount of evidence that has been leaked, it sure looks like it’s real.
