Bethesda has announced that they submitted a patch on November 18 for certification for the recently released Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. They announced that the patch should go live the week after Thaksgiving for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. They did not state whether the patch would correct the current issues that the PS3 version of the game is having.
Owners of the Playstation 3 copy of the game can only hope that the patch will include a little extra to fix the frame rate issues or the memory problem that some users are reporting. I for one am terrified of playing my copy after hearing that data will potentially be erased after clocking in anywhere between 25-30 hours. Please Bethesda, FIX IT.

It shouldn’t NORMALLY, but sometimes, when a big patch is released, shit can hit the fan and some bugs might appear within your save. For example, if they fixed a quest you are currently on right now and they changed the way it is obtained or something similar, then there might be some conflicts, nothing game breaking, but there might be some weird issues. They usually try to make in sort that nothing unusual happens though so don’t worry too much about it.
