There have been many rumors over the past few weeks about a new Xbox being in development and that Halo 4 would be a launch title for the system. Frank O’ Connor, development director at 343 Industries, slapped those rumors down with mighty force when he confirmed that Halo 4 will be a 360 title. He stated:
“Halo 4 will be on Xbox 360 and use a modified core of the Halo engine(s). Not really a singular engine since it goes through fairly radical evolutions all the time.”
All of you fanboys out there who can’t afford a new console can relax and rejoice as your beloved franchise is staying on the 360…for now.
