Ed Boon is a wacky wacky guy.
Oh come on, don’t deny it. He created (co-created, sorry Tobias) Mortal Kombat, the video game equivalent of Bruce Campbell Vs. Army Of Darkness (the comparison may be unfair however).
He’s also a nerd for his own series, having recently commented on Scorpion possibly (or more appropriately, HOPEFULLY) being in Sony’s new Smash Bros.-esque fighter.
Maybe Scorpion should be a guest character in Sony’s fighting game? ;)

Could NetherRealm POSSIBLY be doing the next Killer Instinct game, since all Rare Studios does these days is create calendars and fill them up with “Do Nothing Today” and “Consider Making Decent Banjo-Kazooie Sequel, Decide Against It” when a birthday comes up?
It’d certainly be better than the alternative.
