OnLive, the cloud gaming system that allows direct video game streaming has been offering UK gamers their first game for £1 has apparently been doing tremendously well. So well, in fact, that it’s being extended!
The original set date for the offer to end was October 9th, however, UK users can see that the prices still appear on the game lists.
Matt Jensen of OnLive had this to say when asked about the promotion… “Interest in the promotion has remained strong. We are very happy with the continuing player demand, so we have extended the promotion for a while longer.”
Where the service can go from here, and if it will ever be able to completely catch the public eye is still unknown, but it looks like at the very least, the United Kingdom can enjoy fairly cheap cloud gaming.
