Back at E3 earlier in the year, Minecraft was announced for the Xbox 360 but with no official release window (one of those ‘it will be out when it’s ready’ jobs). Mojang, creators of the construction phenomenon, have now revealed that the title will be hitting Xbox LIVE Arcade in Spring 2012.
A playable version will be available at MineCon, the Minecraft fan event taking place in Las Vegas on November 18th and 19th, where the official launch of the PC version will also be celebrated.
To date, Minecraft has sold almost four million copies in its pre-release alpha and beta stages.
