EA’s Frank Gibeau has revealed that Battlefield 3 fans should expect to see a lot of downloadable content over the next 6 months.
Battlefield 3 has already seen its first expansion Back to Karkand despite being out for less than a week but according to Gibeau more is to come. Gibeau commented that, “Our plans over the next 6 months is to have a very robust set of expansion packs past on Strike at Karkand and that we think the community’s going to be very, very excited about.”
Hopefully a lot of the content will come gamers way for free – otherwise keeping up with Battlefield 3 might turn out to be expensive.
