The Battlefield 3 beta is now available and a lot of gamers have reported many issues with the console versions of the beta. DICE has addressed worried fans that you won’t be seeing them in the full game.
The purpose of a beta is to test to see how the game plays before it goes out on sale to the public. Gamers were worried slightly because Battlefield 3 is out in just under a month’s time. However DICE’s Community Manager Daniel Matros has announced what you see in the beta isn’t what is represented in the full version of Battlefield 3.
He tweeted:
“A lot of what you are seeing in the BETA doesn’t exist in the main game already. 1st Party submissions mean we couldn’t give a version of the latest code in the BETA but the retail game is well ahead of what you are seeing now with a lot more bug fixes already in place.”
In other words, DICE has already addressed the issues seen in the beta and the full game should not be so buggy. Nevertheless if it’s still buggy, DICE can always release a patch to fix it before it’s released.
Battlefield 3 hits the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 25th in North America, October 27th in Australia and October 28th in Europe.

October 1, 2011 at 9:31 PMFor what they are charging for the game, it’d better not be glitchy! MW3 may be the game to get instead of BF3.

October 2, 2011 at 12:35 AMthe beta is very disappointing… i lose connection to ea servers almost every game, and those games that i am able to play in are full of glitches and bugs that its hard to just play. dice, why give us just a broken bf3 code if you already have fixed all these problems? do you WANT us to rethink buying your game?

October 2, 2011 at 1:00 AMGuys calm down, Dice is not all about making money, they released a true beta that was meant to mainly test out the stress on the servers, and get some feedback from the community. They already said that the Beta was taken from an earlier build, so don’t get so disappointed from the bugs.

October 2, 2011 at 1:07 AMI haven’t seen a single glitch or bug on the PS3 version on the beta, which is odd because the PS3 is usually the buggiest of all. However, on the PC, I’ve had a LARGE variety of issues with the game. Going prone has put me into various geometry at multiple times, once it even made me fall through the floor and into oblivion. Laggy servers abound on the PC, but no problems on the console so far. So far, I’m not not disappointed with BF3, just with the PC build of it… although it looks gorgeous on the PC.

October 2, 2011 at 2:26 AMGood God people are stupid. It’s a FREAKING BETA. THERE ARE GOING TO BE BUGS AND GLITCHES. “why did they release us this one if they’re further ahead?” BECAUSE IT’S A BETA IDIOT. /end rant

its a fucking beta
its not gonna be smooth
its not gonna be the best thing since sliced bread
its not gonna be everything your looking for
its just a chance for us to get a taste of the game
for them to fix bugs that they didnt find themselves
and to make the game better for the release
so shut the fuck up
enjoy the damn beta
and experience the full game in all of its glory when it comes out

October 2, 2011 at 3:48 AMthis game is sick
yea the beta has problems
but thats because its the beta
im going to school for game development
if you guys want to cry so much
then we could always go back to the original ways
where the beta is tested in home
at the studio that its being made at
where you dont see it till the game actually comes out
personally, i like it
its just a taste guys, not the full game

October 2, 2011 at 4:44 AMI think the worst problems i’ve come across are the bad habits people have picked up playing games like COD, so many rush games and so many people dont do anything team based, bombs go unchecked and unplanted so that they can get kills instead. I’d understand if they felt they were threatened so they wait to plant the bomb etc… but a lot of players are stuck in this COD state of mind. I’ve had 3 times the team work in gears of war 3 than in the sessions of BF3 beta. Please, if im wrong and battlefield 3 is meant to be a kill by kill game now, correct me, but i’ve played a few installments in the series now and this isn’t what i was expecting.

its just a taste of awesome guys, and it’s the full game

October 2, 2011 at 9:16 PMAs said before, the beta was used to test servers and how gameplay worked, it was using a earlier build. Im positive everything is fixed by now, DICE would not release it if it wasnt ready

October 3, 2011 at 11:20 AMPersonally i like the beta i mean playing the same map a thousand times and its still fun i burnned hours away yesterday playing it and for got to study for my Crim Law Test =/, i agree with some of you guys the players do the most damage to these games, no team tactics, they go for kills, and they shoot RPGs in a hall way, and recently i saw a gun that resembles the god forsaken noob tube, which is a good weapon for campers, but not to be running around with, this game is more of a slow down and use barriers not RUN ACROSS IN THE OPEN FEILD WITH A MACHINE GUN and get gunned down every 5 mins kids really need to stop making these games into run and gun games, it makes me sick, you should go 23-5 not 23-23 it doesnt make u good the more kills u get its the ratio i hope they make somthing close to 1 life games and ill love the hardcore version of rush kids dont run across the map then /my 2 cents
