“Hey, Kid. Name’s The Flash, nice to meet ya.”
During the DCU Online Free to Play webcast Jens Anderson revealed more information on the next expansion to DC Universe Online. The next expansion is to focus around the Flash himself Barry Allen. Aside from more iconic armor coming there were two bits that were “WOW!” inducing.
You can actually be a part of Barry Allen’s origin story but this raises some questions if you know about how the Flash came to be. The other piece of information was the introduction of the Cosmic Treadmill into the DCUO story. For those of you who don’t know, the Cosmic Treadmill is a time machine built by Barry Allen so he could travel through time by using his super speed.
Since the Treadmill is in the game this means that players will be able to go into the speed force and travel back in time. If this won’t make you get the game alone, you are definitely crazy.
