Sony has announced at Gamescom 2011 that it has dropped the price for the PS3.
The new reduced price for the PS3 will be effective from August 22nd, 2011. The price drop is effective around the world. So if you’ve yet to purchase a PS3, now is the best time to do so.

PS3 160GB Model – NZD$629.95 is now NZD$479.95
PS3 320GB Model – NZD$729.95 is now NZD$$579.95
