Square Enix’s representative, Emily Shoji, revealed today via Twitter that Final Fantasy XIII-2, the sequel to Lightning’s adventure in XIII, is slated for release this January 2012.
While Emily didn’t provide an exact date, it’s still nice to see that we have less than six months to wait before the much awaited sequel arrives in stores.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be available on the Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Check back with us near the release date for our upcoming previews and coverage.
