Many fans were disappointed when towns weren’t included in Final Fantasy XIII but it seems from the latest teaser trailer that Final Fantasy XIII-2 will once again include towns.
The teaser trailer showed a short clip of the player running along a beach area but the mini map seems to suggest a hut area which is possibly a town. Fingers crossed for Final Fantasy fans that towns are back as it would help XIII-2 improve upon XIII.
Yea having towns back would be nice. I took FF13 for what it was, and I wound up thoroughly enjoying myself. The battle system was amazing. I didn’t mind having no towns as the story was a little different from most of the games, Kind of sad and hopeless, but then hope sort of came out of just needing to try. (that sounds like every RPG ever but it was different)
I think I’ve learned not to compare every new FF game to my favorite FF game and everything is Alllll good.
