As we rapidly approach the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2011, rumors start to pile up – and there is no difference in the case of “what the next Call of Duty installment will be”, but as of yesterday we may have some solid information.
In the latest edition of The Official PlayStation Magazine UK there is a big grainy number 3 some where between the pages. This number is painted green with the words underneath saying “The biggest game in the world return’s”
This could really mean anything, however earlier in this month Voice actor Craig Fairbrass had previously hinted that a Modern Warfare 3 announcement was imminent. Craig was the voice of Ghost in Modern Warfare 2.
“I did Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as Gaz and then I did Ghost in Modern Warfare 2, which has become one of the more iconic figures in the history of computer games, which is great,” Fairbrass said during a radio interview.
“And I’ve just been out in LA doing something that’s going to be announced in May,” he added. “I’ve just been out there doing some bits and pieces, and one is to do with… I can’t say too much.”
Following Activision’s release schedule the next Call of Duty should hit store shelves some time in November.
