First it was EA and then THQ, now Codemasters is joining the online pass bandwagon with DIRT 3.
This means all new copies of the game will come with a one use download code so you can play the game online. If gamers purchase a second hand copy of DIRT 3, you can expect to pay $10 or 800 Microsoft Points extra so you can play it online.
Upon downloading the code you will receive 5 new cars as reported by Eurogamer. The cars are the McRae M4, the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500, and the Hummer H3.
DIRT 3 is released this week for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
