Notch has just revealed that Mojang will be releasing the Minecraft update tomorrow.
When rather publicly deciding whether to play Portal 2 or releasing Minecraft beta 1.5 Notch tweeted “Ok, I’ll be mature (= boring) and finish 1.5 first. But I’m going home the second it’s out.”
He went on to clarify “But that’s tomorrow. It’s 10 pm here.” So tomorrow we will be able to try out a whole host of new features such as a stats and achievements system, powered rails and experience weather in Minecraft!
