For those who didn’t get Killzone 3 and the beta code that came with it, but would like to participate on the beta, Zipper Interactive revealed today other ways to participate. According to the developer, the beta will roll out in four separate phases from being small private group to a very expansive one. Here’s the schedule for each of the beta’s rollout phases:
– On March 15th, a private beta goes live. We’ll be contacting eligible players soon.
– Beginning March 22nd, PlayStation Plus members will gain access to the beta.
– On March 29th, anyone with a beta code included with Killzone 3 gains entry.
– Starting April 5th, the beta will be freely downloadable to anyone via PlayStation Network.
The competitive multiplayer of the SOCOM franchise has always been the core. In SOCOM 4, there are new mode that SOCOM veterans can expect to roll out when the game comes out next month. In addition to Suppression, Last Defense and Uplink, Bomb Squad will also be available as one of the modes. In Bomb Squad, the Insurgents has to plant the bomb while the Spec Ops team has to defuse them. In this mode, the players must work together to meet the objective.
