Sony have finally won their court case against LG, which means the PlayStation 3’s which LG had seized must be returned.
Along with returning the 300,000 seized PS3s, LG must pay a €130,000 fine to Sony, which is compensation for the court hearing. If LG fail to return the seized PS3s by tomorrow, they will incur a further €200,000 fine.
The verdict that Sony has won is only for the seizing of the PlayStation 3s, the court case about patents is still ongoing.
