Rovio the developer behind Angry Birds has today criticized Microsoft’s policy and explained why Angry Birds won’t be coming to Xbox Live.
In an interview with MCV, Rovio’s franchise manager Peter Vesterbacka explained that because Microsoft won’t allow them to do frequent content updates for Angry Birds they can’t justify bringing it to Xbox 360. Hitting out at the update policy Vesterbacka stated:
“Is that our fault? No, that’s their problem. There is no reason why, when you do digital distribution on console, you couldn’t do frequent updates. It’s just a legacy way of thinking.”
