There will most likely be a different Resident Evil title to be released on the Nintendo 3DS before Revelations name The Mercenaries. Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D is rumoured to be 70% complete already compared to Revelations which is only just reaching 20%.
The Mercenaries will be the mode that was first seen on Resident Evil 3 where players team up to defeat enemies in a limited amount of time, in handheld 3D goodness. Players will be able to do this via the Wi-Fi the 3DS has meaning two player co-op on the move experience. No announcement yet on a release date but expect to hear relatively soon with the game reaching 70% completion.
