In an interview with Entertainment Weekly the director of Inception, Christopher Nolan, spoke out about a video game based on Inception is in the works.
A sequel to Inception does not look to be in the pipelines any time soon as the director is busy working on the 2012 release of The Dark Knight Rises. However, he did say fans of the movie get excited about a video game based on the world of Inception.
Here are his comments with Entertainment Weekly:
“I always imagined Inception to be a world where a lot of other stories could take place,” he explained, “At the moment, the only direction we’re channeling that is by developing a video game set in the world.”
He said he always wanted to explore the medium of video games and that the Inception video game was “a longer-term proposition”.
He did not share any other details about the game but fans of the movie will have something to look forward to.
