Humble Indie Bumble 2 this year had over 200,000 gamers taking part and helping to fund raise for two charities; Child’s Play and Electronic Freedom Foundation. Humble Bumble Inc. runs these events and lets gamers decide how the developers will split the money fairly to include both charities, the developers themselves and the promotions organizer.
There were eleven Indie games available for generous donating gamers who helped raise upwards of 1.8 million dollars. Statistics were taken just yesterday and has shown users of Linux to be most charitable ($13.76 per average), and least charitable were Windows users ($6.67 per average).
Humble Bumble, in the last season, managed to generate 1.27 million.
